Hi,

I would like to alert you to my stolen motorcycle, a 1961 model Triumph Bonneville, pictured below. It was stolen on 12th November in Solihull, probably by someone who had planned the theft very carefully.

Engine/ frame numbers are D7977, reg no 246XUS. I realise that if it is offered in the UK the numbers will have been modified or donor frame/ cases used. However it is possible to identify the bike from unique but invisible information.

Visible modifications include electronic ignition, twin leading shoe front brake, remote oil filter, 12V electrics and a Lucas halogen (old mini) headlight, but all of these can be changed. The silver/ blue paintwork has a smooth lacquer finish over the coachlining.

I will greatly appreciate your being aware of this if you see or hear of such a bike appearing or being offered, even if it is quite some time in the future. You can expect a very credible story to come with it, but it won't have the invoices for the massive amount of work done to bring it to as new showroom condition.

You can contact me or the Solihull Police if you have any suspicions. Also I am happy to travel anywhere to view (discretely) all 1961 Bonnevilles that come in or are offered.

A reward of £2500 is offered for the return of the bike and £1000 for information leading to conviction of the the thief, who I can describe.

Please print and keep this email.

Thank you for your help.

Kind Regards

Will Odling

Dear Andy

You already know me, but not well, I am one of the merry band of Copdockian and this year I greeted you as I have done for several years on the main gate

You will know me as Alistairs mate

I thought I would put the word around as last night, Christmas eve, some very unpleasant person broke into my workshop and stole my 1956 plunger frame T20 Tiger Cub, it is a two tone as most of them are in black and white, that is two tone tank, black side panels and white guards

If you are offered a bike fitting this sort of description or something similar in the near future, please give me a call on 07828 691965

Kind regards
Rob Dean
