Vapour Blasting for non-ferrous metals only

The vapour blasting process is suitable for Aluminum, Bronze, Magnesium, Titanium, Brass, Copper etc.It will gently clean the surface without damage to gasket faces etc, produces a satin finish which will handle without picking up finger marks and gently peens the surface so can help reduce porosity in castings.

IMPORTANT

Before bringing your parts to us for blasting they must be free from all paint or lacquer (especially Japanese parts). Please note we can not do this for you.All bearings and any separate parts must be removed before blasting as the process involves silicone beads and water under extreme pressure which can find their way into anything(We can dismantle for you but this will incur a small surcharge). All parts must be degreased before blasting ( We can also do this for a small surcharge but this may involve soaking in a solution for several days). Please note we normally work on a delivered basis we are not geared up for postage.

Thing we can't blast

1. Cylinder barrels in cast iron

2. Alloy car wheels ( to heavy to handle )

3. Anything made of steel or cast iron (will rust within minutes)

4. Anything with a lacquered finish. ( Our process is too passive)

5. Complete engines taped up.(beads will get in )
