1919 ABC Skootamota 125cc
Priced at SOLD. This is a very early British scooter designed by Granville Bradshaw & manufactured by Gilbert Campling Ltd. The 'first' British scooter boom took place in the few years immediately following World War One, & the ABC Skootamota was one of better offerings on the market at that time. Our example has been ridden in our yard by Andy (see photograph), she started quite readily, ran well & pulled nicely right down to low speed - very tractable. We have just fitted a replacement front wheel, the original wheel & tyre Comes with the bike (fixed to the rear of the machine in the photographs). Comes with the latest DVLA V5C registration document, is registered under the 'Historic Vehicle' class for road tax (i.e. free road tax), & is MOT exempt under current government legislation.
