Trojan Minimotor Head Gasket - How not to fit one!
Whilst trying to get a Trojan Minimotor to run, Andy spotted a flame coming out of the side of the cylinder head joint. Upon investigation we found that the head gasket had been incorrectly fitted, over one bolt only!!! Yes it was fitted exactly as you see it in the photographs below. Once the head gasket was fitted correctly, the Minimotor ran just fine.
Not a 'Push In' petrol tap
This petrol tap was recently removed from the tank of a motorcycle we purchased. As you can see there is not much left of the 1/8 BSP thread that should screw into the tank. However this did not stop some idiot from fitting it - he forced it in!!!! This is not recommended under any circumstances, not even for fully certified moroons!
Brake & Hub Lubrication
This is an example of how NOT to grease your hub bearings. What seems to have happened here is the person doing the greasing just kept on pumping the grease gun until grease came out everywhere!!!
Below is another example of over greasing your hub!
