1960 BSA A7 500cc

Priced at SOLD. Originally registered in Southend-on-Sea, Essex on the 12th of January 1960, this beautiful A7 was in the hands of the last but one Essex owner from 1966 until 2022, this gentleman clocked up thousands of miles over the 56 years he had the bike. He was a man of details, being a Chartered Patent Attorney, & had the BSA lovingly restored (see link below to work & costs) not long before age forced a retirment from riding. A friend of our is Suffolk then bought the machine to add to his collection, only selling it to us to make room for another motorcycle from his favourite period (late 1960's & 1970's). Has very full history in the form of the original buff cardboard logbook & a whole lever arch box file full of paperwork (see picture below). Has a current DVLA V5C registration document, qualifies for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class & is MOT exempt.
