1967 Military BSA B40 500cc
Priced at SOLD. This very nicely equipped military B40 is one of two that have come to us from Barkshire from the hands of a very enthusiastic military vehicle enthusiast. Presented here in army bronze green, equipped with panniers & various paperwork (see last photograph below). Now Peter has had a chance to put this BSA on the workbench & have a look at it, it shows all the signs of being a low mileage motorcycle, when opening the headlight it was found to be pristine inside, the speedometer shows 07525 miles which could well be genuine. The engine proved to be mechanically quiet on a six mile road test, the clutch & gearbox worked nicely & the 12 volt charging system functioned properly. This is one of the most authentic army bikes we have had in recent years, still retaining its correct carburettor. It has the odd battle scar which gives it great patina. Comes with the latest DVLA V5C registration document, is registered for free road tax under the 'Historic Vehicle' class as well as having the added advantage of being MOT exempt.
